Coronado Premium Paints Brandmark
Overview
Sterling Brands commissioned Steven Noble to create a new illustration for Coronado Premium Paints new brand mark which was established back in 1957. Two separate versions were created that includes the detailed and the iconic / simplified versions. Named after Francisco Vázquez de Coronado who was a Spanish conquistador and explorer who led a large expedition from Mexico to present-day Kansas through parts of the southwestern United States between 1540 and 1542, the illustration visually encapsulates the characteristics of the conquistador riding proudly on his horse which is symbolic to the brand history.
